How you describe your work to a kid: I help people solve arguments.

Diversity hero: I admire Congressman John Lewis for the courage he exhibited as a young man as an original freedom rider and in Selma. I also admire him and the leadership he has shown since Selma and his dedication to public service.

Why you serve on the diversity committee: To make DWT, and particularly the Portland office, an attractive and safe place for attorneys and staff to spend their careers no matter where they’re from, what they look like, or who they love.

Personal goal in five years: Learn to speak Italian.
